All Spanish4Educators participants take part in a school volunteer component, that provides an authentic environment to practice Spanish and become immersed in the Guatemalan culture.
(ABOVE): Included in the Spanish4Educators base package is a family homestay, which provides comfortable accommodations, three delicious meals per day (except Sunday), and the opportunity to practice Spanish in a non-threatening environment and become immersed in the Guatemalan culture.
(ABOVE): All participants take part in intense 1:1 private Spanish classes for 4 hours per day. The classes are taught by highly-qualified and trained Guatemalan teachers, and are catered according to the participants grammar, vocabulary, and conversational needs.
(BELOW): Cultural activities include a Mayan weaving demonstration, where Guatemalan Mayan women first demonstrate their incredible craft, and then allow participants to try out for themselves!
